Arbor Assays LLC was formed in July 2007 in Ann Arbor, Michigan by three scientists who collectively have over 50 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, analyzing and shipping FDA regulated and life science and clinical products worldwide. Two of the founders have worked at Abbott Labs Diagnostics Division, Kallestad Diagnostics, Sanofi Diagnostics, R&D Systems, and in 1992 founded Assay Designs, Inc. “ Our philosophy is to build the highest quality detection and immunoassay products for clinically important biomolecules. ”Assay Designs (www.assaydesigns.com) is a company that has grown from 2 part-time employees to be a major worldwide supplier of immunoassay and detection kits.

Quality does not come cheap. We will not follow the trend of other companies and contract out services such as organic chemistry, peptide synthesis, polyclonal or monoclonal antibody production to whatever country can provide the cheapest labor. “ We believe that how we work relates to the world we live in. At Arbor Assays, we give back to the community by donating a substantial proportion of our profits to charity and by donating our time through volunteerism. ”The quality of the product will suffer.
