EFIS is an umbrella organization that represents more than 12,000 individual members from??in 31 European countries (all European Union member states and all other European states) and reaches beyond the European boundaries to Israel.

EFIS has a Board composed of the President, the Vice President, the Past President, the Treasurer and the Secretary General. The Board meets about three times a year. Board Members are elected by the EFIS General Assembly, composed of delegates of national societies (each society is entitled to have one delegate per 500 members), and they are appointed for a period of three years.?
